Away from the Chargers and the NFL, tennis is one of my favorite sports and it’s time for the first grand slam of the year, the Australian Open. Unlike the closed world sometimes of the NFL, tennis is such a global game – though it’s shame the US doesn’t quite have a player to challenge the elites in the men or women’s game these days.
There is probably nothing original left to say about the way Roger Federer plays the game, but his style makes him a personal favorite compared to Rafael Nadal. One of those two will surely win it.
As for the women’s, well who knows? So many imponderables. I see the tipsters at Free Tennis Betting Tips have gone for Justine Henin for the women. They could easily be right.
